Webwinkel Beginnen

Thinking of setting up a Webstore? The good news is making webwinkel beginnen is easy and inexpensive. I have created my own webstore with no difficulty, yet, I am not a web designer or an IT person. All I use was simply a product or software that I bought from the net. If you are like me with limited or no web design knowledge than this is the program for you. For those who are knowledgeable, you can still use this software because it really saves you lots of time creating your own webstore.

With a Webstore you can sell many things or create a theme around your niche. This will help to supplement some extra income from your day job to pay for monthly bills. Well, this is just a start, if you become very good at it, you could probably make a living making money from the internet. First, you need to find out what your passion is. You build a store targeting your interest. With interest in place, you can start building your store.

For example: a golf store, a bookstore, a hobby store, a fashion store, a jewellery store, a toy store, a pet product store, a video, camera, music, mobile phone store etc...

I could probably go on and on about different Webstore. If I can do it so can you. It is human nature that if one is excited about something and action is not taken now, then it will probably never happen. The best advice is to stay focus and focus on your goal. Think of big item that you always dream of like a mansion, a Ferrari, paying off your mortgage etc...

Let's get started.

Tools and equipment : computer and internet connection

Steps to building a Webstore:

1. Domain
2. Hosting Account
3. Program or software

The program I use to build my store is located at the bottom of my home page. Go ahead and have a sneak peek at the software. They have excellent support system in place. Excellent step by step instruction, almost leading you by the hand. There are many website templates to choose from. Check out my webstore for an idea.

After building your store you need the whole world to know. How do you do this?

The answer is the Magic Of Advertising. That's how you get customers to come to your store. Advertising can be through Google, Yahoo, MSN, tell a friend, email, off-line, article writing etc. To do this, you can either key into Google search to look for free or bought information on how to generate traffic to your website. There should be plenty, and if you are really serious about getting traffic then perhaps buying traffic information or courses is the way to go.

There is nothing to lose but gain by setting up a Webstore. The end result is web knowledge, excitement, fulfillment and also some extra income. As time progresses, you might have more ideas to put into your website or create a few stores with different niches. And if you do that you could make more money a lot quicker.

Webwinkel Maken

Passing the Left Bank, a brasserie on Santana Row in San Jose, it’s easy to forget you’re not in Paris. The street scene is a freshly concocted recreation of a French boulevard, or… is it an Italian plaza? A few steps further and you’ve entered Sino, artistic chef Chris Yeo’s hip interpretation of a metropolitan Asian bistro with dim sum carts swirling about richly minimalist ruby, gold and bronze booths. No, you’ve been transported to Beijing’s poshest restaurant… or have you? Meanwhile, at El Jardin in Santana Row park, a Latin jazz trio plays, reminiscent of an evening in Buenos Aires… or not.
There are so many sensory experiences along San Jose’s themed shopping and dining district called Santana Row, that it’s understandable why so many first-time visitors might become confused about where they are. In creating Santana Row, some of the world’s best urban experiences were fused, generating a new place that defies categorization. More than a shopping district, it is a community with parks, townhouses and a hotel. Facades of the five-story buildings along the boulevard hint stylistically that Santana Row evolved over the past century. A pseudo art deco frieze atop one of the false fronts heroically declares “DeForest” hinting that some industrial plant once occupied the building in the 1930s. The consistent height of the buildings along its 1500-foot “Main Street” shocks one’s senses after arriving from sprawling Silicon Valley where building height seems constrained only by purpose. Suddenly, you’ve entered an urban canyon as is common in European cities.
Santana Row’s developer set out to redefine the urban neighborhood, by salvaging its best characteristics and filling its street-level spaces with chic shops and gathering spots that would attract upscale tenants and residents. The strategy worked. Santana Row is home to such famous names in fashion as Gucci, Tommy Bahama, Ann Taylor, Burberry and Brooks Brothers. Discriminating diners are attracted to such one-of-a-kind restaurants as Tanglewood where inventive forms of “comfort food” are served in what General Manager Andy O’Day calls “Spirited American Cuisine.” Entrees include such unusual items as “Coca-Cola Braised Pork Belly” or “Buttermilk Fried Wolfe Quail” served with honey-buttered mini biscuits, American culinary legend James Beard’s favorite biscuit.
Just like Tanglewood’s menu, everything about Santana Row is completely new and yet, also, remembered vaguely. We’ve been here before… somewhere in our imagination. That sense of familiarity amidst the surreal is the result of a wholly Webwinkel invention… the theme park. Santana Row is an adult evolution of the theme park, where an idealized, proverbial environment is created for our enjoyment. It stands to reason that the state where the theme park was invented (Disneyland, 1955) would also extend its affection for whimsy to shopping. Throughout the golden state, shopping is more than what is inside the store. It’s the experience that goes with it.
If San Diego was the birthplace of Webwinkel, then Old Town San Diego - the city’s historic pueblo dating from 1769 – is the birthplace of themed shopping. Here in 1968, Webwinkel established a state historic park to preserve its first downtown. Today, 27 early-1800s homes, a one-room school house, the first church in San Diego and government buildings are preserved. Scattered among the historic buildings once-derelict motels and shops have since been transformed into Mission-revival adobes containing 106 shops and 12 art galleries that bring life to the museum-like quiet of the state park by selling colorful south of the border crafts, clothing and treasures. On visiting Old Town, a government official from Mexico was overheard saying to another of his colleagues, “The Americans are even doing Mexico better than us.” Patio restaurants amidst the themed shops resonate with the happy sounds of Mariachi musicians as they entertain diners and stroll beneath columned arbors draped with magenta bougainvillea.
Beyond the limed walls and red tile roofs of Old Town, the maritime history of San Diego (home to the U.S. Navy, America’s tuna fleet, cruise ships and numerous yacht clubs) is celebrated at Seaport Village. A contrast of silvery-black weathered buildings and colorfully painted salt box structures provide a nautical flair along the waterfront. Lushly landscaped paths wind past curio shops and eateries and along San Diego Bay where benches provide good spots to watch passing sailboats and warships.
Further up the Webwinkel coast in Orange County’s Newport Beach, coastal life is the theme of Fashion Island, an enclave of Mediterranean style with splashing fountains and a signature koi pond. The first impression one has on entering Gary’s Island - one of three local Gary’s stores in the mall - is the brilliance of the apparel’s tropical colors: turquoise and yellow, pink, and lime. While, at Lola Rouge Kids, designer fashionistas aged 6 to 16 go “gahgah” over its trend-setting party wear. Clearly, you’re not in London any more. Though, if you seek more conservative rags to don, explore Orange County’s only Bloomingdale’s or Neiman Marcus among Fashion Island’s 200 specialty stores.
The granddaddy of Webwinkel’s destination shopping centers is Costa Mesa’s South Coast Plaza. Although sleek South Coast Plaza does not fit categorization as themed shopping, because it is such a favorite of travelers (24 million shoppers a year) it deserves a spot on any review of what makes Webwinkel shopping special. South Coast Plaza’s distinction is its unusual concentration of the most glamorous names in design: Tiffany & Co., Valentino, CHANEL, St. John, Hermes, Dior, Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton and Giorgio Armani to name a few (there just isn’t space here to name them all). More than a shopping center, South Coast Plaza’s 280 stores elevate shopping to the level of performance with their showmanship and the center’s five valet parking stations and five concierge desks that will arrange dinner reservations or theater tickets, if you can bear to stop perusing the stores.
If not, performance shopping is found at two of the biggest names in entertainment, Disney and Universal Pictures. Set between Disneyland and Disney’s Webwinkel Adventure theme parks, the shops and restaurants at Downtown Disney in Anaheim are all about having fun, whether buying sports merchandise at the ESPN Zone, listening to jazz as you dine at House of Blues, purchasing Disney memories at World of Disney, being amazed at the Lego Imagination Center or creating a new persona at Sephora. Universal City Walk at the entrance to Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles claims 65 cool things to do, from finding native American arts and crafts at Adobe Road, to dressing like a “hog” at the Harley Davidson store, to finding Southern Webwinkel skateboard fashions at Skechers, to unearthing rare video games at EB Games, or to being amused by the rock and roll memorabilia as you chow down on a burger at the Hard rock Café Hollywood.
There’s a local saying that goes, “nobody walks in L.A.,” though along Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade, it seems everyone in L.A. County is. This is one of the places to see Hollywood celebrities out and about, particularly midweek when it’s less crowded. Among those who have been seen on the three-block-long Promenade include Brad Pitt, Cher, Meryl Streep, Jane Fonda, Jack Nicholson, Charlise Theron, Jennifer Aniston, Whoopi Goldberg... by now you’ve figured out all area celebrities eventually stop here to watch a film at any of several multi-screen motion picture complexes, to shop at Fred Segal or buy an Austrian ice cream at Charley Tremmel’s.
If star watching is your bag, look for them (again, midweek) at the Beverly Center in L.A. (between Beverly Hills and Hollywood) or in Palm Springs along Palm Canyon Boulevard. The ultimate star-watching location is, however, Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive (pronounced Roh-DAY-oh). This posh street of high-end stores was the set for Julia Robert’s character’s shopping spree in the movie Pretty Woman. The shopping area is much more compact than the impression it made on the big screen. Allow an hour to walk its three blocks and a budget of $10,000 if you actually plan to buy something at Bijan (431 N. Rodeo Drive) reputed to be the world’s most expensive store. Though, the window shopping and people watching are free

Webshop

The goal of every webshop is to sell products to its visitors. The more, the better. Obviously. Most webshops have a conversion rate around 2-5 per cent which means that out of 100 visitors 2 to 5 of them will make a purchase.

If you want to increase sales in your webshop you can either attract more visitors or improve your webshop to convert more visitors into customers. Chances are you're probably already spending quite a lot of money on online marketing and the outcome probably is reasonable, I hope. But why not have a look at how you can convert more of your existing visitors to customers for free?

There's a term in online business called shopping cart abandonment, which is when visitors leaves your website in the midst of a purchase. This group of visitors are the ones closest to making a purchase in your webshop. They've found the product they searched for, clicked the buy button and then they leave your website... the question is why?

Here's why customers abandon their shopping carts in your webshop

A survey done by emarketer.com during the current financial crisis reveals the top five reasons leading to shopping cart abandonment:

Shipping charges too high - 43%
Total cost of purchase higher than anticipated - 36%
Wanted to comparison shop at other websites before making the purchase - 27%
Could not contact customer support to answer questions - 16%
Forgot usernames and passwords for store accounts created with merchants - 14%

Solutions...

What is particular striking about the survey results is that four of the five reasons are very easy to address. As a matter of fact only price comparison is hard to avoid online. So here is four easy ways to deal with shopping cart abandonment:

Rethink your shipping charges and other delivery costs. Are they fair to the customer. What if you include shipping in your prices with a promise of free shipping? Be creative. And don't attempt to make money on shipping.
Be real clear about prices. Show the order total as early as possible and do not add extra handling fees on the last page of the checkout. You shouldn't even have a handling fee.
Make it really easy to contact customer support. Visible phone number and e-mail on all pages.
Don't force your customers to create accounts to make a purchase. Ask them after the purchase or create an account for them automatically.

It is estimated in the article that around 2/3 of all visitors add items to the shopping cart without finishing the purchase. It is obviously not pennies we are talking about here, so what are you waiting for?

Eigen Webwinkel

When your customers are shopping on the web the last thing they want is a page that takes 30 seconds or more to load, personally when that happens I just close the web page and go somewhere else.

If you want to improve the performance of eigen webwinkel there are a number of things you can do.

Benchmarking

The first thing I'd recommend is to perform some benchmarking on your website to find out exactly how slow it is, that way you'll have something to compare the performance against when you've finished souping it up. You could get some software to do this or you could just rely on some simple timings using the second hand on your watch, but basically you want to get a set of measurements for your front-page, some of your major category pages and some of the major product pages. Write them down or record them in a spreadsheet.

Once that's done you can start improving your Webshop's performance

Make sure that Your Server and Connection are fast

This may seem obvious but if your server is bogged down because there are too many other websites running on it then you haven't got a hope of making your Webshop perform well. Likewise make sure that your server has plenty of bandwidth, with multiple network connections and a fast internet connection.

Reduce the number of Requests

Each image, every external JavaScript script and each css file on your page causes a request to be sent from your customer's browser to your server, each of those requests causes a connection to be opened between the two computers and the file then gets downloaded from the server to the client. Although these communications generally happen quite quickly when you've got a lot of files to get each of these small downloads adds up to a lot of time.

The problem is that it takes quite a few milliseconds just to make the connection and when you've got a lot of connections to make (one for each file) then all those milliseconds add up.

How can you resolve this?

What we generally try to do is to use image maps i.e. we combine a lot of images into one large image so even though we may be showing ten pictures we actually only download one file, so we save on the connection time for nine images.

We also refrain from loading below-the-fold images until the customer scrolls down on the web browser, when we design our pages we know that some of the images on the page won't be seen by the customer until they scroll down the page. So using JavaScript we wait until the user scrolls down before we load the additional images, that way the web browser only loads the images that the customer is likely to see. All of those images way down at the bottom of the page don't get loaded until the customer can see them.

Use a Content Delivery Network

A Content Delivery Network (CDN) will host some of your files for you, usually you would put your image files onto a CDN and any requests for those files will route to the CDN's very fast servers, what they also do is to replicate your files across their own network and they will serve your files from the nearest server to the customer. For example if you have a customer who is in Japan when the request is made for a file the request is routed automatically (by the CDN) to the nearest server to the customer (probably in Tokyo). So although your Webshop server may be located in London a large number of your files will be located in Tokyo (and wherever else your CDN supplier has servers)

This also saves a lot of bandwidth as your files will only be loaded from your servers once by the CDN and any further requests will be satisfied by the CDN.

Use Gzip Compression on your Apache Server

This may be out of your control but we've found that by switching on compression on the Apache server the download time of your (text based) files will be much shorter. Typically a text file (css, html, JavaScript) will be reduced by about 50% in size when its compressed which means that the time taken to download the file will be reduced by almost a half.

Minify JavaScript and CSS

The smaller the text file, the faster it will be downloaded so using a compression utility to minimise your JavaScript and CSS files will again make the files smaller and make them load quicker. Especially when they are compressed even further by the Gzip compression on your Apache Server.

Setting a Default Expiry Date in the Apache Server

The Apache software has a setting to set a default expiry date of image files, what we generally do is to set this far into the future. When a customer's web browser requests a file it will check the customers local cache to see if the file has already been downloaded and hasn't expired yet. If the file is up-to-date it will use the local file instead of downloading a copy of the file from the server.

online business directory Punjab

It’s that time of year again for many of you isn’t it. You know, the online business directory Punjab ad reps are knocking at your door. Read this article and may actually be able to get real benefit from your Yellow Pages ad.

Yellow Page advertising is a unique animal. On one hand, placing an ad in the local Yellow Pages makes complete sense. Unlike someone thumbing through a magazine, most people who pick-up the Yellow Pages are looking to buy.

On the other hand, when they turn to your section, they are immediately greeted with the ads of most of your competitors right there along side your ad.

To end the debate right here I will state without hesitation that most businesses can benefit greatly from effective Yellow Page advertising, not in spite of the situation described above, but because of it.

You see, most Yellow Pages ads are completely wasted. I would challenge you to pick any category and flip to it. What you will find are bunch of ads that might as well say, “We don’t do anything different than anyone else, but here’s our phone number so you can call and ask for a quote.”

It’s no wonder I run across scores of business owners who complain they never get any results with their Yellow Pages Ads.

So why are Yellow Page ads so bad?

Most end up being designed by the Yellow Page ad sales folks who basically tell you that you need a bigger ad, with a border, with color with, your name big and bold at the top…or

You go look in the Yellow Pages and you see a big ad, with a border, with color and a big fat logo at the top and you copy it.

Go ahead, pull out the yellow pages and you’ll see what I mean.

Here’s the deal.

The Punjab Yellow pages can be a great tool for most businesses. As I stated before, when people reach for the Yellow Pages they are motivated and often ready to buy or find a business to visit.

Here’s how to make sure that your Yellow Pages investment pays off.

Use a headline

This is an ad. You are trying to get someone to read your ad and understand how you are different from the 234 other businesses that do what you do listed right there on the same page. Since the Yellow Pages offers your reader a host of choices for every category (essentially all of your competitors) you must stand out. Grab them with an effective headline.

“Discover the Worlds Most Comfortable Mattress”

Relax and enjoy soothing music while you bounce, poke, and feel your way to sleeping heaven in our entertaining showroom

Who wouldn’t want to call that company? Don’t use up the most valuable space in the ad to give your company name and logo. People go the Yellow Pages because they don’t know whom to call. Give them a reason to call you. Use that space at the top of the ad to stand out. Once you draw them in, they will find your name.

Make them an offer – The point is to generate a lead with your ad not necessarily a sale

Use your ad and your headline to offer a free report, offer a reason to call, or communicate how you are different from the rest. If you don’t do this one thing in your ad, the calls you will get from your ad will all be price shoppers.

“FREE Report – 10 Proven methods to more restful nights and energetic days”

Remember, this is a very competitive environment; give them a reason to call you.

List Benefits

Not features–Benefits. 100% No Questions Ask Guarantee. Free set-up. We recycle your old mattress for your. Delivered to your door when it’s convenient for you.

Too many ads say things like quality work, in business over 29 years, family owned. These may all be nice things but they don’t get at the heart of what your prospects want.

Call them to action

Make sure that all of your contact information–email, address, fax, store hours, location–you name it, are easy to find.

Ad Size Can Matter

Don’t waste a fortune on your ad. Make sure that it is big enough to stand out in the category. You don’t need to dominate with size when you have a headline and a compelling offer. Ask your sales rep where a certain size ad would rank you in the category (biggest ads run first) and go from there. Aim for a great ad that is middle of the road size wise.

Besides your ad will stand out now anyway.

Test your ad

One of the real downsides to a Yellow Pages ad is that, once you stick your ad in the book, it’s there for 12 months without any way to change it.
